Placed 4th in the unaffiliated Novice dressage on Invasor, and he had a floppy lower lip throughout the test! We did have comments saying “hard to judge as bitless” so don’t feel our score was necessarily reflective of the test.
Rea & Bowler Hat Trick – Entry Photo
Riding my friends horse, this was my first time showjumping in two years, due to my old boy retiring earlier this year, and I believe only my third time jumping Bow. We were the only bitless pair at the event, and went on to get a double clear for fourth place in our showjumping round!

Siobhan & Cygnet – Entry Photo
Cygnet took two young, first time showing, riders around the family working hunter course at the 95th annual Connemara Pony Show. She was foot perfect and did me so proud helping them take 5th and 6th place. Only bitless pony in the whole three day show! Second time out for her this year, bitless both […]

The club encourages bitless competitors to compete on equal terms with bitted. I have been attending the shows bitless for 3 years. At this show we were […]
Karen & Connie – Entry Photo
We did the whole competition bitless. The dressage judge commented on the sheet that I wasn’t allowed a hackamore for British Riding Club dressage, but I wasn’t told to put a bit in 🙂
Becca & Charlie – Entry Photo
This was our first ever show jumping competition (second overall). Charlie did amazingly and I’m so proud of him. I’ll be popping up a post about our experience on my blog: www.baygreychestnut.co.uk 🙂
